This monster 31-pound, nine-ounce carp was taken by Derek Barnick by bow and arrow out of Lake Etta-Alkaline on April 21, 2017. It measured a whopping 36 inches long. It beat the previous record by 9 ounces, which was caught in 2003 by Austin Loberg of Thompsonout on the Sheyenne River.
